The Anastasi crime family is one of the most powerful and dangerous criminal organizations in the United States. Based in New York City, the family has been involved in a wide range of criminal activities, including racketeering, extortion, murder, and drug trafficking.
The family was founded in the early 20th century by Salvatore D'Aquila. D'Aquila was a powerful and ruthless mobster who quickly established himself as a major player in the New York underworld. In 1930, D'Aquila was murdered by his rivals, the Castellammarese clan. After D'Aquila's death, the family was taken over by his brother-in-law, Albert Anastasia.
Anastasia was a ruthless and ambitious mobster who quickly expanded the family's criminal empire. He established a strong presence in the garment industry, and he also became involved in gambling, loansharking, and extortion. In 1957, Anastasia was murdered by his rivals, the Gambino crime family.
After Anastasia's death, the family was taken over by Carlo Gambino. Gambino was a shrewd and cunning mobster who managed to maintain control of the family for over 20 years. Under Gambino's leadership, the family became one of the most powerful and wealthy criminal organizations in the United States.
In 1985, Gambino died of natural causes. He was succeeded by his son, John Gotti. Gotti was a flamboyant and charismatic mobster who quickly became a media sensation. However, Gotti's reign was short-lived. In 1992, he was convicted of racketeering and murder and sentenced to life in prison.
After Gotti's conviction, the family was taken over by his son, John Gotti Jr. Gotti Jr. has been in charge of the family ever since. Under his leadership, the family has continued to be a major player in the New York underworld.
The Anastasi crime family is a dangerous and powerful criminal organization. The family has been involved in a wide range of criminal activities, and it has a long history of violence. The family is a threat to the safety and well-being of the citizens of New York City.
